No, they are not.  There are many different variations of quality, color and absorption levels among granites.

4. Can someone from your firm come to my home to make a memorial presentation?
Yes, we have someone available to meet with families in their home.  One of our goals is to make it as convenient as possible for you to select a memorial.  We have a complete “mobile” presentation kit, which includes granite samples and design books.

5. What kind of foundation is placed under a memorial?
Each of our memorials is installed with a concrete foundation underneath of it.  The depth varies depending on the size of the memorial; however, it is always a sufficient depth to discourage settling.

6. After I purchase a memorial, how long does it take to complete its installation?
Installation times can vary depending on exactly what has been ordered.  The average length of time for an in stock memorial is approximately 4 – 6 weeks.  A special order memorial can take anywhere from 8 – 12 weeks.

7. What determines the cost of a memorial?
There are 2 price points in all colors of Rock of Ages branded memorials:  Round Seal (Full Perpetual Warranty) and Square Seal (Limited Perpetual Warranty).

In addition, we offer economy-priced, non-branded memorials in a wide variety of granite colors to suit any budget.  Beyond material, cost is determined by size, shape and intricacy of design.

8. What payment terms to you offer?
We accept cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.  We can also arrange 90 day, six month or one year interest free payment plans through American General Finance, as well as longer term interest bearing payment plans.
