Monuments are two piece memorials: tablet on base.
Single monuments are intended for the information and decorative carving for one person only. They must be small enough to fit on a single grave space.
We can, and have, placed two names on a single monument, however, there is little space remaining for decorative carving or embellishment on the stone, which is the preference of some families.

Double Monuments are larger monuments intended for the information for two persons. They are normally centered over two grave spaces.
For monuments reflecting several names, ask about Multi-name monuments. Not all double monuments are large. We have a section of our gallery devoted to stones of this type. If your family is interested in this type of monument, view examples by clicking here.
